Quick Start Guide
Go from zero to a deployed AI agent in 30 minutes. This guide walks you through every step — creating your workspace, training your first agent on your company knowledge, evaluating its readiness, and deploying it to customers.
30-Minute Quick Start
Follow these seven steps to get your first AI agent live. Each step includes the estimated time so you can plan your session.
Create Your Workspace — 2 min
Sign up at app.operanix.ai using your work email. Name your workspace (typically your company name), select your industry from the dropdown, and confirm your email. You will land on the Command Center dashboard.
Add Knowledge — 5 min
Navigate to Knowledge Ops in the sidebar. Enter your website URL and click Crawl. Operanix will automatically crawl your site, extract content, and build a structured knowledge base. You can also upload PDFs, documents, and spreadsheets.
Install an Agent — 3 min
Go to Agent Workforce in the sidebar. Select a pre-built agent — Sales Agent or Support Agent are great starting points. Click Install, then assign your crawled knowledge to the agent so it can answer questions about your business.
Test Your Agent — 5 min
Click Test Agent to open the built-in chat interface. Ask questions your customers would ask. Verify that responses are accurate, well-cited, and match your brand voice. Note any gaps for knowledge improvement later.
Run Evaluation — 5 min
Navigate to Agent Readiness. Click Run Evaluation to execute an automated quality assessment. The system tests your agent across multiple dimensions — accuracy, groundedness, helpfulness, safety, and more. Review your pass rate and address any flagged issues.
Deploy — 5 min
Go to the Deployment tab on your agent. Select Staging as your deployment environment. Click Deploy and wait for the confirmation. Your agent is now live in a staging environment where you can test it in a real-world context before going to production.
Share — 5 min
Test the hosted chat link that Operanix generates for your agent. Copy the link and share it with a colleague for feedback. You can also embed the chat widget on your website or connect it to other channels later.
1-Day Implementation Plan
For teams that want to move fast, here is a structured plan to get production-ready in a single business day.
| Time Block | Goal | Activities |
|---|---|---|
| Morning (9:00 – 12:00) | Foundation | Create workspace, crawl website, upload key documents (FAQ, product guides, policies). Install Sales and Support agents. Assign knowledge to both. |
| Midday (12:00 – 13:00) | Identity & Testing | Customize agent names, personas, and response styles. Test both agents with 20+ real customer questions. Note knowledge gaps. |
| Afternoon (13:00 – 16:00) | Quality & Governance | Fill knowledge gaps with additional uploads. Run evaluations on both agents. Configure governance policies. Set up approval workflows for sensitive topics. |
| End of Day (16:00 – 17:00) | Deploy & Share | Deploy to staging. Test hosted chat links. Share with 3–5 team members for feedback. Schedule follow-up review for next morning. |
7-Day Implementation Plan
A more thorough rollout for teams that want to be deliberate about quality and governance before going live.
